5 Minute Room Redo? Yes please!

If you find yourself wishing “if you only I had more time to spruce up before the mother in law comes over”, worry no longer! Everyone has 5 minutes each day to get a few things done that can completely change a room for the better. Set a timer before you get to work to make sure you’re not getting bogged down on one thing, you’ll be surprised at what you can accomplish in so little time!

Just a little bit of tidying can improve a house. Spend 5 minutes going around the room straightening objects and tucking edges in. When you’re done take a step back, it’s amazing how a little bit of presentation makes a room look brand spanking new again! If you’ve time for another 5 minutes, bring out the duster and banish those unsightly cobwebs and dusty streaks.

Grab the air fresheners, or make your own. Changing the smell profile of a room can do wonders for the impression you get when you first walk in. And, yes, all our senses are linked, when something smells nice, you’re more likely to appreciate how it looks too! All out of air freshener? Leaving bars of soap or chunks of nicely smelling plants in strategic locations can work just as well!
