Replacing an old love can be hard, but sometimes it's just time to stop dillydallying and go for it! A new sofa can work to instantly freshen and liven up a space; but how do you know when it's time to take the plunge and chuck your old couch? We've gathered together 5 telltale signs that serve as warnings to you that you that it's probably time to move on!

  1. Your sofa seems to have lost some of its structure, and when you go to sit down you sink right through all the softness you used to love so much and it becomes uncomfortable to sit on! When this happens, there's not much you can do other than replace the main sofa to get that plump comfy feeling back when you sit.
  2. Your sofa...seems to have just a few more marks, wrinkles, rips and scratches than it should. At this point, it's starting to look less like the sofa and more like a cat post. But hey, maybe that's its true calling in life!
  3. When colours are looking just a bit less trendy and chic as when you bought them. I mean, who would've known that shiny plastic pink shade would ever go out of style? Not to mention those stains you've been covering with a trendy sofa blanket for quite some time now! Aren't you getting a bit tired of pretending your sofa's cold?
