Dreaming green? All homes need a little bit of life in them, whether that’s pets, plants or both, whether or not we have green thumbs sometimes all we want is our little leafy friends to survive and prosper! Before that, of course, is picking the perfect plant for you.
First off, decide where you’re putting it, where is there space and light? Don’t forget you need to be able to get there to water it easily too! Second, think about the different types of plants available, don’t just consider the pretty ones, smell is important too. Think about how it’d fit in with the style of the rest of the room, the shape of leaves can do wonders at giving off exotic feelings, calmness or even minimalism!
When picking a plant, make sure it’s not too demanding for someone with * your level of plant experience! * Once you’ve picked a plant, or two 😛remember different ones need different levels of light and water, so make sure to check the label before you stick it somewhere and leave it to its fate! Some plants actually need low light levels or low water levels, so putting it near the window or overwatering can actually kill the plant! If one of your plants doesn’t quite make it, don’t give up, get another and give it another try. Some plants need proper care, and maybe it’ll take a few tries to get into the rhythm of that but we’ll take it over an empty spot in the corner and no greenery.
So, what is your opinion on sofas in the bedroom… yay or nay? If you are thinking about purchasing a sofa for the bedroom, definitely make sure you keep size in mind. Whilst having a sofa in the bedroom is cool, if your sofa is too large it may leave your room looking too cluttered and overpowered by the sofa.
